Servant of Music
@gabekuchan
Gabe Kuchan is a guitarist/bassist/arranger and educator from Chicago, IL. Currently based in Boston, MA, finishing his time at Berklee College of Music, he is a guitarist with a distinct, funky, soulful, and bluesy sound, that can easily be adapted to any style that grooves.
With the roots in Chicago's funk, gospel, and blues scene, and refined by Boston's robust music curriculum, Gabe Kuchan is a very exciting player. After finishing a 27 show tour with David Michael Frank after only his freshman year, Gabe bounced around, balancing playing in Brazilian Jazz ensembles, country/rock bands, funk bands, and being open to working with anyone. He always get excited for new opportunities and experiences to hone his craft. Now, he mainly plays with bands around Boston, including the Pat Kennedy Band, which is planning a summer tour around our July 17th date at the Minnesota Yacht Club Festival in St Paul, MN.
Gabe is available for lessons, studio sessions, and live gigs. He has appeared on numerous recordings, including the album "Table 42" by Pat Kennedy, "Tribulations" by One Mann Band, "In The Wake Of Insomnia" by Metacognate, as well as his solo recordings "Just Whatever: Live Session", and "When You're Around", which were both DIY projects at different points in his career. He also has worked with Bacci Guitars, and has done countless sessions, gigs, and live performances, and is quick on his way to paving his own path in the music industry. Please reach out and contact me. I look forward to our time together.
